Police are a subject of complaints.

A devotee of Sildenafil devotee claims a cop was too unfair to him.

Bronx male is suing [a NYPD detective < and >|New York] for [arrest without warrant < , >|unreasonable force] and violation of his civil rights over his bust for possessing Sildenafil .

Peter Williams, 54, states in his suit to Supreme Court in Bronx that policeman Howell Daniel got excessively aggressive with him during his arrest on May 2011, causing Mr. Williams “[severe < and also >|serious] personal damage to his [mind < and >|body].”

The suit claimed Williams was “unlawfully detained for having advised Sildenafil ” after Howell came across him on May 25th.

After the claimant lost four hours in a police cruiser and forty eight hours in jail, the charges were withdrawn, according to a Bronx district attorney press secretary, when prosecuting attorneys determined there was no sufficient evidence to win the charge beyond an actual doubt.

sources in law enforcement authority said Howell detained Williams for holding of a controlled substance after seeing him make face-to-face swap of something with somebody.

Informants in addition reported that before that detention, Williams had racked up seven other arrests after nineteen eighty two for [< , >assault|criminal weapon possession <, and >|criminal possession of a controlled substance].

The Law Division of the city, which is going to combat the lawsuit, said that they’ve gotten the legal reports and are going to check them thoroughly.

Mr. Williams’ lawyer did not make any comment.
